Variations of kale

In the winter we cook a lot with local winter vegetables like kale and try out new recipes and food combination. Kale tastes especially good after a frost and is rich in many important nutrients such as calcium, iron, vitamins C and K, and Carotenoids.

Some of the new food photos featuring kale are Polenta and Kale Roulade with Tomato Sauce, Gnocchi with Kale & Beans and the more traditional Kale and Potato Hash with Tofu Sausage.
