Mediasculp - Harald Walker

Mediasculp was created in 1997 and since then has served as platform for my creative activities. Instead of carving something in stone, I am working with modern digital art and media forms like photography, video, music, interactive applications and of course the internet. In photography I have been specializing in food, European travel and panorama photography. But I also enjoy documenting the world around me with a focus on environmental issues.

Bended winter world

After Christmas we went to stay in the Weserbergland close to Hameln for a week and we were lucky with the weather. After we arrived we had ice rain and a lot of snow turning the nature into a surrealistic landscape. I had brought my Lensbaby Composer lens and as it wasn’t really great weather to take regular landscape photos, I used the Lensbaby on my Nikon D300S to take a series of photos and a short video of the transformed winter landscape.

    You got some great footage here! I love a lot of this. 1:35 is a very interesting perspective. Nice little piece.
